Replica of a so-called money torc from the Viking Age. This simple but elegant Viking torc is made according to historical models from the Viking Age and dates from around 800 to 1000 AD.
In the Viking Age, such a bracelet was worn by both women and men and used as a means of payment according to need - hence the term money bracelet. With his arm ring, the Viking wore the wallet on his wrist, and broke off a larger or smaller piece as needed, which was then used to pay.
