Description
Buckle - cast bronze loop with Borre ornamentation, and sheet metal plate. From a male burial in a chamber grave at Birka , together with a matching strapend (
seen here). Specially created for museum exhibition 'VIKINGS' (ANMM, Sydney 2005-06). Comes complete with two pins for attachment.
