I have two of these blades and I am seriously impressed.
Excellent for British broadsword styles.
I have bought pretty much the whole range of MFC blades and these are the best. Quality control is MUCH better- these blades lack the wavy, uneven grind I've found in the other blades. The grinding is clean and finished very well. The tang is pretty good with threaded flat bar welded to the end- Not a rat-tail. And, the weld looks very good and dependable. One of the examples I have has the weld cleaned up much better than the other but still good.
They seem much stiffer than other MFC blades and don't sag or flop about.

Would seriously be an excellent backsword blade for studying Silver if only 6" longer.
Please MFC, make this pattern blade available in 38" and we'll have an excellent Australian option for backswords and broardswords in a good length.

Very happy with the purchase and value for money.
