The look and cut of this tunic are inspired by archaeological finds dating back to the 11th century.

In 1898, the bog body of Nederfrederiksmose was discovered near the village of Kragelund in Denmark. The so-called “Kragelund Man” is the first bog body ever to be photographed at the site. He wore short leather boots with his tunic and had bare legs.

Our knee-length cotton tunic is made from sturdy canvas and features hand-stitched decorative seams. It is carefully crafted and intended to be worn exclusively as an outer garment. The tunic flares from the hips thanks to inserted gussets at the front, back, and sides. The unusually cut sleeves give the upper arm a wide fit while the lower sleeve is more traditionally shaped.

This tunic is perfect for anyone portraying a man of the North. For an authentic look, we recommend pairing it with a leather belt.
