This Roman Imperial Italic D Helmet is patterned after an original from the Rhine at Mainz, one the best-preserved Roman helmets to have survived, dated to the second half of the 1st century AD.
Made of 18 gauge steel, with plenty of brass decoration and furniture such as cross bracing, eagles, temples and altars. The helmet features a wide brim, brow guard and cheek flaps, alongside a leather tie and arming cap. A wonderful recreation of a famous Roman helmet.
Perfect for Roman reenactors and enthusiasts.
