The Padded Coif or the Arming Cap, is like just like a gambeson, but for your head and shoulders. It protects the back and sides of your head, as well as your collarbone, and keeps your helmet snug during battle.
This coif is dyed red, displaying your allegiance to whichever clan, and features a tie at the front for ease of mantling and removing. The padding is decently thick, and so should act as suitable armour on its own. The lining and shell is 100% cotton, and the padding inside is a wool polyester blend.
