This is an exquisitely detailed replica of a Viking bead distributor, made after a historical bead divider from the Swedish island of Öland. Chain divider plates are found next to elongated stave distributors more often in the grave finds of the Viking Age. Especially in eastern Sweden and on Gotland as well as in the Baltic States, from where different forms of bead distributors are known.
On the underside of the Viking bead distributor there are three holes for attaching chains or chain hooks.
Especially in the Baltic this type was very common and instead of holes it often had eyelets on the back.
This is for one chain distributor.
