A pair of hard leather arm and elbow guards designed for use in combat; either re-enactment or LARP.
Lightweight, but sturdy enough to absorb blows without fear of bruises and scrapes, these arm guards are a perfect addition to any combatant's kit. Suitable for Ancient, Dark ages and Early middle ages re-enactors. Leather armour like this are sometimes called bazubands.
The braces sit comfortably on the elbows, then fold around the forearm and are secured with two buckled straps.
If you wish for further protection, the leather is able to be boiled and wax coated.
