These simple leather jerkins were worn by soldiers during the Tudor period eventually becoming a 3/4 length, close-fitting garment with long sleeves and a high collar to protect the neck and arms.
Our buff vest is crafted from 3mm-thick suede cowhide and provides protection against swords and blunt trauma on the torso.
Our buff vest does not have buttons, it uses a leather thong fed through two holes. It is designed to be trimmed to length by you.
