A handmade baselard dagger for costume and display, featuring a wooden H-shaped handle and stainless steel blade.

This baselard has been handmade in the MFC workshop. It is uniquely Australian.

A Baselard (also basilard) is a type of dagger or short blade that was commonplace in Europe from around the late 13thC until the mid-15thC. It refers to many weapons with a distinct H-shaped handle that evolved from the 13thC knightly dagger.
