The sallet was a 15thC helmet that became staple equipment for German and Italian soldiers. This sallet is more evocative of the Italian style of sallet, which developed from the older bascinet, and features rivets around the brow band. A 16 gauge steel helmet with leather lining and leather webbing for height adjustment, this sallet is a snug fit perfect for reenactment or LARP combat.
