Good dirk but shame about the scabbard The dirk itself is quite solid and attractive for the price with a strong blade. However the scabbard tip was badly made and fitted and ruins the look of the overall set. This may just be the one I bought because the illustration shows a much better fit.

Looks Good is Good I’ve been carrying both a Scottish Dirk and a Highland Dirk into battle for a little while now and they don’t just look good they are good. I have fought with both my Dirks against short swords, at first, I expected them to be turned into bread knives but both have stood up surprisingly well - yes a few scratches but that’s about all. Both are good authentic Dirks.
