Made from dense rubber. It is safe for SCA use and the hole will stretch to accommodate thick rattan. Some kingdoms recommend using with a clacker (read the SCA rules of your kingdom if you don't understand).

Designed and manufactured by MFC, all exterior edges are rounded.

The eye of the blade (Triquetra shape) is designed to collapse under excessive force and absorb some of the shock. It will return to it's original shape after such a compression.

Great axe head with hefty weight great for dane axes currently trying too balance them out too use them on 85cm Rattan. However they aren't legal as is atleast in the kingdom of Lochac the flared tips/beard of the axe can get into a helmet visor more then an inch, im going too try and cut them off and see if it will pass will post pictures of my approved heads if they get okayed

We didn't think it could fit in far enough to be a problem when the mesh on the helmet is the legal width apart but we are happy to be corrected if this is the case. Plenty of Americans buy them and this is the first we have heard of it being an issue.
