The tang is good and thick and the shoulders are crisply done.
The blade begins tapering 30mm before the shoulder of the blade -going from 6mm to 3mm thickness. This is going to make the tight fitting of a hilt interesting.
The tip of mine is uneven, but as I am intending to use my as a training blunt, the point will be ground off for safety.
The blade has wobbles and a bit of flop to it -it deflects under it's own weight by about 15mm over the length of the blade.
The temper seems good.

Pay special attention though that it may not appear like in the picture, different batches have different shapes.
My last one came with a flat nosed tip, I was able to fix it though.
It is a very good price though.
