versatile little knife. This is a versatile little item. I love the raw look of this little item but I found that I had to use a file to take the sharp edge off of the handle's end where it dug into my fingers a bit. I also re tied the cord grip which came off but is easy enough to replace if you think it necessary. This knife comes with a usable edge but I sharpened it to my taste.
This will soon become one of my favourite medieval themed tools.

Excellent knife This is a great little knife, definitely not just for show! It can be easily sharpened with a modern knife sharpener and the size and shape makes it a comfortable and effective tool for skinning. It is large enough to look good in a sheath on a belt too, and the rope can be replaced if it becomes too stained. If you don't use it for skinning, its sharp tip and curved blade make it a lovely feasting tool. A versatile blade for an excellent price.
