A synthetic plastic falcata waster suitable for HEMA or WMA fighting. The falcata were swords derived from the sickle-shape knives of the Iron Age. It is thought that it was introduced in the Iberian Peninsula by the Celts who spread their iron-working technology.
Tough and durable, but with a slight flex, this weapon is a brilliant approximation of steel weaponry without the associated risks or weight. Perfect for hard sparring, technique training or simulated duels, this waster can dish out as much damage as it can weather.
This waster also features a steel finish, in the sense that the nylon pigment is steel grey, making it look more realistic than other wasters. This design is an emulation of a sidearm dagger, perhaps for use as a main-gauche for rapier fighting.
