The falcata is known for its inward-curving blade from ancient Iberian and Greek cultures, and combines elegant craftsmanship with formidable cutting power.
This weapon set features a traditional falcata sword paired with a matching utility knife, both housed in a handcrafted leather scabbard designed to hold the two blades securely side by side. Its handle is made from polished horn, providing a smooth yet sturdy grip, and is adorned with finely detailed brass fittings. Crowning the handle is a brass horse-head pommel, an iconic motif symbolizing strength, nobility, and motion, and it gives thethe weapon a distinguished and historical character.
The companion knife mirrors the falcata’s design, featuring the same horn grip, making it a functional and aesthetic complement to the main blade.
The blades are both high carbon steel, perfect for re-enactment. For combat, rounding of the edge and tip may be required
