How to apply for a weapon permit for South Australia
South Australian citizens require an exemption from the law to possess swords and daggers. Depending on how you plan to use the sword or dagger, you are likely to be eligible for an exemption. For example, maintaining a collection or possession for the purposes of sport and recreation are two of several ways of being exempt.
We encourage you to either contact your local police station or visit their website for more information. Exemptions are detailed by the SA Police here: SAPOL - Prohibited weapons, items and explosives
To send out your sword or dagger we need you to answer two questions:
If you don’t answer those questions within 7 days, we will have to cancel your order, or, if your order includes other items, we will have to remove the swords / daggers from your order.
We thank you for your time and understanding during this process.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to get in touch. You can reach us either by sending a message or by phoning the warehouse on 1300 768 068.
