This is a plate reconstruction from the Sutton Hoo helmet. This decorated Anglo-Saxon helmet was discovered during the 1939 excavation of the Sutton Hoo ship-burial. Buried around 625 AD. It is believed to have been the helmet of King Raedwald.
This plate is located on the dome of the helmet and on the cheek plates and is strikingly similar to ones found on Vendel helmets of the same era.
This plate is sold in sets of 5.
