This pair of 14th Century style splint or banded leather arm guards come complete with steel banded leather vambrace, and rearbrace with solid steel elbow cop and fan plate that offers fantastic movement and arm protection for re-enactors. Made from 16 gauge (1.5mm) steel.
Includes leather edging around the top of the shoulder. Perfect additional protection and gives somewhere to tie to the harness.
The 14th Century is often claimed to be the transitional period from mail suits of armour to full plate.
These pair of banded legs have been made to suit these 14thC arms.
Please note: The rerebrace, cop, and vambrace are photographed with ties joining them together, however these are not included with the armour. Thick leather thonging or paracord are well suited for securing these parts together.
