These shield blanks are ready to be covered and painted with a design, fitted with a handle and perhaps even leather or metal reinforcing around the edge. Each shield blank has been curved and shaped for maximum coverage and protection.
Constructed with 3 sheets of triple laminate hardwood ply for an overall thickness of 12 mm, it is well and truly strong enough to withstand serious combat.
