By the first half of the sixteenth century, sabatons adopted a streamlined design, ending at the tip of the toe and occasionally wider than the foot itself.

Our sabatons have strap fitted to secure around the ankle and a leather thong (650mm) to tie under your shoe and secure to the tip.
