Bojna Helmet - The Bojna helmet is an awesome helmet dated from the 9th to 10th century helmet from Bojna, Slovakia. The helm itself is a two-piece spangenhelm, featuring a distinctive set of rivets decorating the central and brow band. The brow band also features plentiful rings for attaching a maille aventail. It has a strong resemblance to another example from Gnezdovo in Russia.
This helmet is a perfect addition to any Western European reenactor's collection. It is a truly faithful recreation of the original find, as shown in the pictures. It is made of 16ga steel, comes with a leather chinstrap and interior leather webbing for height adjustment.
